By submitting an application, you confirm that you have read these terms. If you are offered a place and choose to participate, your participation in the pilot will be governed by them.
1. About the pilot
Healthy Thinking is an audio-based self-management programme designed to support stress and nervous-system regulation. It is currently focused on people going through perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause.
The pilot is a free, time-limited opportunity to use Healthy Thinking and provide feedback. Healthy Thinking is not a medical or mental health service.
2. Eligibility and selection
You must be aged 18 or over to take part.
Places are limited to approximately 50 participants. We may accept or decline applications based on the eligibility criteria, the needs of the pilot and the number of places available.
Submitting an application or meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a place.
3. Pilot options
If selected, you can take part in one of two ways:
Two-week pilot
Try the main features and daily activities for two weeks, then provide feedback on the content, features, usability and overall experience.
Six-week pilot
Complete the full Healthy Thinking programme. As well as providing feedback, you will help us understand what changes, if any, participants experience over the six weeks.
4. What we ask of you
We ask you to:
- Complete an onboarding questionnaire in the app
- Aim to listen to around 12 minutes of guided audio each day
- Use the programme for the two or six weeks you have chosen
- Complete a short exit survey or interview
You do not have to use every feature or complete every check-in. Taking part is voluntary, and you may stop participating at any time.
5. Feedback
Any feedback you provide may be used to evaluate, develop and improve Healthy Thinking.
We will not publish your name, an identifiable quotation, testimonial or case study without asking for your separate permission.
You will not be paid for participating in the pilot or providing feedback.
6. Your data
Your personal data and pilot responses will be handled in accordance with the Healthy Thinking Privacy Policy.
Any pilot findings or reports will use anonymised or aggregated information so that individual participants are not identified.
We will not provide an employer or commissioning organisation with your individual responses or identifiable pilot results without your explicit permission, unless disclosure is required by law.
7. Access to Healthy Thinking
Pilot access is personal to you and must not be shared with anyone else.
You must not copy, record, reproduce, sell, publish or distribute any Healthy Thinking content or audio recordings without our written permission.
Healthy Thinking is still being tested and developed. We may change features or content during the pilot, and the service may occasionally be unavailable.
We may suspend or withdraw access where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, safety, legal reasons or misuse. Where practical, we will let you know in advance.
Free pilot access does not guarantee continued or free access after your pilot period ends.
8. Health and wellbeing
Healthy Thinking is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis or treatment. It is not an emergency or crisis service.
If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional. Do not delay seeking professional advice because of anything you read, hear or experience through Healthy Thinking.
We cannot guarantee that you will experience any particular benefit or outcome from taking part.
9. Responsibility and liability
You are responsible for deciding whether Healthy Thinking is appropriate for you and for using it in accordance with these terms.
We do not guarantee that Healthy Thinking will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical problems.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including responsibility for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
10. Leaving or ending the pilot
You may leave the pilot at any time by stopping use of the programme or contacting us at hello@healthythinking.uk.
We may end your participation if you misuse the programme, share your access or seriously breach these terms. We may also end or postpone the pilot for technical, safety, legal or operational reasons.
Any personal data already collected will continue to be handled as explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms while the pilot is running. If a change materially affects your participation, we will tell you before it takes effect.
